What if Emma Woodhouse was a Principalia-Samurai mestiza heiress and Mr. Knightley was a Christian ronin exile who saved her family from ruin? 

A period romance set in the Japanese Christian community of Dilao in Manila on the eve of Japan’s isolation. The film explores the themes of love and class of Austen’s Emma through Filipino, Japanese, and Spanish cultural lenses.

Current status: proof of concept short film screenplay complete, fundraising.

These steps are meant to help you overcome inertia to make this new habit stick effortlessly.

In writing about the three different skincare routines, here, here and here, my goal is to get you, the reader, to act on the information. To buy and use whatever recommendation that best fits your needs and realize the benefits.  I’m writing for the absolute beginner.  How I classify beginners is such: You don’t use anything special to take care of your face. You wash your face with soap, maybe use body lotion to moisturize and use sunscreen only at the beach or for long outdoor exposure but not every day.

In the previous post, I featured products from Round Lab. I like all of them and I like just buying everything from one brand at first to reduce decision fatigue. However, it’s worth pointing out that it’s not the most affordable option. This kit below is under 50 USD. Same steps at half the price. Can’t beat that.

It happens all the time. you start with the best of intentions. full of vim and vigor. then life happens and whatever initiative you wanted to launch just languishes in the ether.

maybe other priorities got in the way. you got lazy. uninspired. whatever the reason, you’re stuck and sheepish at having nothing to show for.

it’s ok. that’s me too. especially with this little web project of mine.

I’ve befriended people who don’t have sisters or don’t have the best relationship with them. I joke with these friends that I should start a sister-as-a-service company for the advice and support that I lovingly provide.

I’m taking inspiration from that with the name of my blog/newsletter. It’s a play on SaaS, software as a service. A nod to my past life as a tech entrepreneur.

With Sister as a Service, I hope to share my takes on wellness, personal development and spirituality. I’m not a qualified expert in any of these. I just want to share what worked for me so you have a reference point for your own journey of self-discovery and positive transformation.
